What Does थका Really Mean?

Many beginners think “tired” only refers to working too much.

In everyday Hindi, थका can describe many different experiences.

For example, you might feel:

  • tired after a long day of work
  • tired of explaining the same thing repeatedly
  • tired of waiting for something
  • tired of pretending that everything is fine
  • emotionally exhausted

Because of this, थका is a very expressive word that helps you communicate your feelings naturally.
